Donald Trump congratulates Nigeria for suspending Twitter, says more countries should ban the platform

Former US President, Donald Trump is in support of Twitter ban in Nigeria and says more countries should follow their footstep and do the same, New York post is reporting.

Donald Trump on Tuesday congratulates Nigeria Government for blocking the world largest Micro blogging platform, Twitter.

"Congratulations to the country of Nigeria, who just banned Twitter because they banned their President. More COUNTRIES should ban Twitter and Facebook for not allowing free and open speech - all voices should be heard," Trump said in a statement.

The world most respected Politician encourage other countries to follow Nigeria footstep by banning Twitter and Facebook, before the statement He said he would have banned Twitter and Facebook when he was still President in United States but his decision was back down by Mark Zuckerberg.

Donald Trump's speech comes after days Nigeria Government banned Twitter from operating in Nigeria Internet space following Twitter deleting a post on Buhari Twitter handle relating to civil war.
