 Cristiano Ronaldo is currently in isolation will his family in Manchester in accordance to United Kingdom rules of COVID-19 and will be allowed to join the club if he has a negative results after 5 days.

I came too early - Okocha reacts to Messi earning £1m weekly

Nigeria Football Star, Jay Jay Okocha has reacted to Argentina Soccer star Lionel Messi over his £1 million weekly pay at his new club, Paris St Germain.



According to Guardian Newspaper, Jay Okocha said his time for football came too early while that of Argentina Soccer star Lionel Messi came at the right time. 

Okocha said if at a time he was playing football if he was been paid such amount then he would have stayed in France and not thinking of coming back to Nigeria.

He added in an interview with The Guardian Newspaper, “I came too early and Messi came at the right time. If I was paid such amount of money in my playing days, maybe I would have stayed back in France forever. I wouldn’t have thought of coming to Nigeria."

Lionel Messi to leave FC Barcelona

Argentina Soccer star, Lionel Messi will not renew his contract with FC Barcelona despite effort made by the club.

The Club announced on it's official social media page that it won't be able to keep Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou after he said to leave after joining Barcelona at age 13.

According to Statement from FC Barcelona, it's said both parties have reach an agreement over financial terms and contract renewal but the economic and structure offered by LaLiga economic control has made the contract so unfortunate for FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi.

The Soccer star will now continue as a free agent until he find a suitable club from his heart to continue to play ahead of 2021-2022 seasons.

"There's no 'UP NEPA' in the UAE", I prefer it to Nigeria - Footballer Odion Ighalo mum says

Footballer Jude Ighalo's mother said there's No 'UP NEPA' in United Arab Emirates that she even prefer to remain in UAE than return to Nigeria because of power outage in Nigeria.

The footballer mother, who is currently on vacation with his son, Odion was ask during a ride in a private jet if she look forward to return to Nigeria or prefer to stay in United Arab Emirates.

She  responded,"No 'up NEPA' in UAE," she said, referring to the epileptic power supply in Nigeria

She added: I will rather remain United Arab Emirates and only coming to visit Nigeria.
